at what point in time did i infringe on a copyright, post a hotlink from another website or post anything. the picture was taken off of google images and saved to my computer and then cropped down with mspaint to fit an avatar format. that is all i have to say about it and i wont make another post about this. I've decided to go with a female pastel or two and a normal female or 2 lol. Next year i will pick out the male to start with, which im already leaning pretty hard towards a spider, green eyes get me every time hehe. I also like the combinations a yellow belly produce, so i might pick up a yellow belly male also. Once i get my tax returns back ill be building my baby/medium size rack so i will be ready to go!

I don't mean to derail this thread, I only meant to show you why people were asking if you got permission to use that picture as your avatar. You don't have to explain HOW you got it as your avatar, that is besides the point. That is not your picture. I've seen those leucy ball pics too and yes they are amazing but it is someone elses picture and he may not want his picture as your avatar.

I was not meaning to be rude at all and I apologize if I came off that way. I was only meaning to make sure you understood the rules on copyrighted material.


As for your question. Follow your passion with snakes. If you want to make bumble bees because you like them, then thats what you should make. Don't just follow what the market is asking for, do what makes you happy. I too would like to make bumble bees in the future. I plan on getting a female spider for my pastel in july. Good luck. :D

Doesn't need to be heated though. People need to just take responsibility and follow the rules of the forums.

I've emailed Bob Clark about the picture, If he says that he does not want me to use his picture, then i will not. The only other way im going to be taking it down is if an admin of these forums tells me to take it down before Bob gets back with me.


Now if you could please stop derailing this thread. Its most likely dead now anyways, who wants to sit and read a completely random de-railed thread.

This would be the point of rules. An admin wrote in the rules not to use copyrighted material without giving credit. You did not... rule broken. You shouldn't sit and wait for an admin to take the time to force you to take off your avatar IMO. That's why they made the rules.

You've gotten our answers and a good amount of feedback. And people don't have to read this entire thread to figure out what your asking, just the first post. If they have feedback, they will post. And I will have to disagree with this thread being "random"

i am done discussing this in this thread, an admin will contact me if they have a problem with it. that is all i have to say about it.
