    I agree that the settling in process is over thought most of the time. When I got my BP it was the normal feeding day for him. I fed him a couple of hours after getting home and he f/t right away. I left him alone for a few days in regards to handling though. As long as husbandry is correct they settle in pretty quickly (IMO) That's a great looking snake you got there:)

    We have offered food the day of purchase as well, and I agree that if the snake doesnt want to eat, it wont. You can just tell sometimes if they are going to eat or not. I think it's easier when you bring a snake from a tub/rack situation and transfer it into your tub/rack situation. I have had them settle right down and eat later that night, and some that looked at me like "wtf?? go away...".
