With that being said, I will be working with both, but ill be putting more effort into my lesser projects than my mojave projects just because I like lessers more...

I will most likely be picking up a nice amount of mojave females to grow up this season and cross them later on.....

I also agree and look forward to working with both Mojave's AND Lessers.
With that being said tho Rockster I would NOT trade this guy for ANY Lesser.I don't know what the heck is up with this guy but believe it or not he gets BETTER with age ;)

Dont forget that Lesser to Mojave can produce Lucys as well just food for thought.

Mojo lucies aren't nearly as clean and crisp as lesser lucies.:)

Agreed! Best BEL comes from lesser x lesser...From the pics of the Het Russo BEL, they don't look to be as clean.

Something to keep in mind...Mojave X Mojave is not the best looking.

Lesser X Mojave or any other is a good looking lucy.

For everyone, I believe these are all the possible combos to make BELs:

    Lesser x Lesser
    Russo het x Lesser
    Russo het x Russo het
Russo het x Mojave (Graziani proved this)
    Lesser x Mojave
    Mojave x Mojave

IMO the BEST looking BEL comes from Russo het x Russo het.
He has produced some snow white smokers from his line.

I've only seen pics of the Russo het x Russo het and it still doesn't look better to me than the Lesser x Lesser. I held one of John Piro's BEL at Daytona and it is SMOKIN!

I've been lucky enough to be able to examine several examples of all of the different lucy "lines" in person and if you're looking for pure white, super lessers are where it's at. The russo lucys, like many of the other lucys, have the yellow spinal striping, the yellow eye smudges, and some have not so clean heads.

That said, Gregs Het Russo x Lesser lucy is hot ... very clean.

Just like pastels, albinos, or any other mutation, with lucys the appearance can be very variable .... in my experience the super lessers are the most consistent when it comes to being all white without blemishes.

    Hope this helps.
