    I think you are looking for smaller as you mentioned rat with their eyes closed in your first post small or weaner is likely too big, ideally you should feed a prey slightly smaller then the girth size (each store call their rats something different so you really need to be able to recognize the proper size)

    The tricky part is to find them I would say you could if you have a specialty reptile store near you (they usually breed their own rodent and have all sizes) after that for other pet stores I don't know just call around you will see.

    And if you don't try again F/T but at dark this time and if he does not take it leave it overnight.

    Should I try a F/T pup tonight...or wait til next week. I'm not too sure when the breeder fed her last.

    I'd personally wait a week. You will just stress her out by trying again and again. Next week present the room before feeding. Just put the rat pup in something near her and leave it there for about 30 minutes. Then attempt to feed her again.

    I poked holes in the bottom of the plastic plate I was thawing on. I put the plate on top of the exposed section of the mesh screen top, then put the CHE over the rat, figuring I was prescenting.

    Is that good enough?
