    The climbing is normal but yea watch that your snake doesnt get burned! I know it expensive but using an UTH on the cool side worked for me. Looks liek a nice setup!

    Actually, if she's excessively climbing and never really settling into her hides for extended periods of time, you have a stressed out ball python on your hands.


    I would definitely recommend at least belly heat on the warm side, and probably even covering three sides of the enclosure to close it in more. I would recommend filling the enclosure with loosely crumpled newspaper, but with that mister, I'm not sure if that's such a good idea.

    It might be worth taking the mister out to do that and get her settled though.
