    How funny I actually meant to type "SOMEBODY" but since the answer when I ask who actually did drink all the milk and toss an empty jug back in the fridge...is always that NOBODY did it, I guess it fits! I don't know who this "nobody" is but I do wish he or she would stop sneaking in my house and drinking my milk. I hate black coffee. :(

    I'm a 22 year old college student, currently in my junior year. My major is English Literature--and while I first thought that being a Professor of English was my career path, I decided that publishing might be my thing. I'm applying for an internship with Houghton Mifflin in Boston, and hopefully they'll hire me on for the summer :) I'm really kind of a nerd at heart--love D&D, RPG-based PC games, Renaissance-faire type stuff...you get the picture :)

    My pet list is really short.

    I have one beautiful male NERD line lemon pastel named Auryn, who has only been with me 3 weeks. I also have a female beta fish named Chloe, who is a lovely turquoise-blue and does a "jumping" trick for her food.

    :D

    I have quite a few animals, and suprisingly, all but one are not reptiles.

    Starting with the reptile...

    I have Zim (see my avatar). I purchased him from a petstore on December 5th, 2006. (I know, go with a breeder first) He is a Snow Corn. I'm not sure on age or length, but I'm going to try and get the weight tomorrow.

    Now onto the non-reptiles...

    Miki is my oldest cat. She's only 1 year and 3 months. She is a tortoiseshell and the one word to describe her is insane. She's lazy and fat and only wants attention when she says so. But when she does want love, she is a cuddlebug. When I was at college in April of 2006, my friends and I had heard there was a cat stuck in a tree on campus. Finally someone brought it down and it was a skinny little 5 month old kitten. No one could take it and all the shelters around were not no-kill, so I borrowed $50 from my mom and boarded her at the local vet for a week, and went home the following weekend. I convinced my mom to let me keep her and she's been with me ever since.

    Tyran is my youngest cat. She is 11 months old. She is out to make trouble and make it look like a tornado hit my room. She knocks over everything that isn't glued down (and I've actually considered that a few times.) I got her from the local animal rescue. When I went in looking for a cat to keep Miki company while I was at work, I picked up this little 3 month old kitten and she immediatly flopped back into my arms like a baby. She started purring and I looked into those big eyes of hers and fell in love. I took her home about a week later. She's long and clumsy, but her and her sister are like my daughters.

    The dogs. We have six, not all live in the same house (four at one and two at another). We'll start with the biggest ones. One samoyed and one samoyed mix. They live outside in a kennel. (My grandmother doesn't like big dogs) Thier names are Stosh and Winona. The next one is Lacey. She lives with my mom and she is very protective of my mom. She's attention-crazy and hates to be alone. She is a silky terrier. The other two are twins, coming from the same litter. Keltie and Haley. They are yorkshire terriers and they live with me. I don't even think they are dogs. They are like babies with fur. These 'dogs' don't even play with squeaky toys. The newest addition is a :cens0r::cens0r::cens0r::cens0r:zu puppy named Bralyn. Fuzzy ball of biting energy.

    I also have one betta named Jolly Rodger.

    I think that completes the zoo, for now. Though I am currently looking into getting some leopard geckos.

    Heh well...... I won't bore you with personal details as there's not too much to say, but I'll give you a more detailed version of my signature.

    As for snakes, at this very moment, I have: two cornsnakes (0.1 snow, 1.0 normal) and one ball python (1.0 normal).

    Lizards: One male? normal leopard gecko and one female? armadillo lizard.

    Frog: one male? White's tree frog.

    Mammals: 1.0 Bichon Frisé/Poodle mix, 0.1 American short hair cat.

    If I find what I'm looking for at the expo tomorrow, you'll all know. ;)

    I used to list our snakes and furries in my sig, but then I was talked to about it being to big. :rolleyes:

    I'm a single, full-time working mom to my fantastic! 14 yo daughter Robin. I've only had snakes for two years (sep. thread :D) but we've gone from one adult BP to:

    The Scale Kids:
    3 normal male BPs: Freddie, Precious and Zeus;
    1.1 100% het albino BP babies (nameless.... :sigh2: I can't think of something fitting!)
    1.0 Stimson's python, Felix;
    0.1 albino Nelson's milksnake, CeCe;
    0.1 anery Kenyan sand boa, Oreo;
    1.0 normal Colombian RTB, Wrigley;
    1.0 100% het albino Colombian RTB, Petey (short for Platinum);
    1.0 poss DH ghost, poss het for T+ albino, hypo pastel Colombian, Apollo;
    0.1 pastel Colombian, Pinky T;
    0.1 Leucistic TX ratsnake, Crystal;
    1.0 Snow corn, Flurry;
    0.1 normal adult Colombian RTB, Hera;
    1.0 SD retic, Kaa;
    0.1 Robin's pet amel corn snake, Kishnah

    The Furries:
    Smoo (Smudge II), Smee(Smudge III), Butterscotch, Stewie (Scabbers II), Scabbers, and Robin Hood are either batchelors or previous daddy rats;

    Peekaboo, Mommy Thing, Creamy, Peachy, Squeeky, Snow, Beauty, Monkey are, or have been, all mommy rats. The other girls are Stripe, Patches, Dot, Dumbelina, Raven, and Thing 1 (or 2). :oops: We're not sure which "Thing" got out accidentally and bred...so now she's Mommy Thing. And about 20-25 nameless babies (4 litters still alive) who are getting fed off as they grow.

    Our horses are Cody, the 2 yo chestnut tobiano Pinto gelding; Roxie the black 3 yo tobiano Paint, Robin's horse Blue Chyp HF, the registered Arab mare; and Duchess, my 10? 11? yo running AQHA mare, who we're still trying to "find" by her racing tattoo ID for her papers.

    Our cats are Checkers, Candy, Norman, Riley (in the house); Mohawk, Keera and Pesky (in the garage).

    When we get our own place, (soon!!!!! :carrot: :carrot: ) we're wanting to get a dog (maybe two, if smaller). We miss Tundra so!

    My wants are a lemon pastel, pied BP, axanthic BP, high white spider BP and albino ball...hence the 1.1 het pair of albino babies. The more I read Kevin C's book, the more I drool over the different morphs and my WISH LIST just gets longer, and longer, and longer....................:D But sadly the money tree gets smaller and smaller, so I'll have to breed for those and the boa morphs I want. When I get more room and experience, I'd like to get an albino burm and a lavender albino retic. I think they're unbelievably beautiful! :O

    Since there aren't any in this area, I'm going to be working towards a snake rescue. Freddie was my first one, and after the news article about the albino burm, I want to make sure they're properly cared for until their ppl get their heads out and get smart, should the poor snake get away (again).

    Even with all that going on..........I'm building my MK biz, and my sister and I are building a bakery biz for a family cookie recipe (sep. bldg, of course!). All this so that I don't have to continue working the scrummy night shift and affecting my health.

    *whew* :rolleye2: :rolleye2:
