Mojave, Pastels, Spider, Black Pastel, Cinnamons,or Yellow Bellies are co-dom and in your price rang. I am in the same boat as you. I will have 6 females up to size by next year and I want a visual morph to produce.Trey

I say save a little more for 2 mojaves and make some white snakes, 2 pastels and try for a super pastel, or get a pastel and spider and make some bees

Buy 1.1 mojave ball pythons. Get the male to size to breed to the normal female(s) that you already have and you could get normals and mojaves from that breeding. The following year perhaps you could have your female mojave to size so you could have normals, mojaves & super mojaves (Blue Eyed Leucistic)

    thanks for the help guys!

one question that ive always wondered....if its that easy to get a blue eyed leustic (sp?), then why do they cost so much? and why are they rare?

Any super will be worth a lot more. Look at super pastels, low prices are around $200 for males and say $500 for females yet the super costs upwards of $2k. That 100% chance of getting a morph gives you that extra edge in breeding. Why breed a mojave to a normal only to statistically get 50% mojave when you can breed one and get nothing but mojave? The leucistics are worth so much also because no one has really tried much with getting new morphs with them and there are quite a few possible combinations of making a leucistic.

Spiders are co-dom?? I always read it was dominant.

As for your question on what to get. I'd either go for the pastel and spider combo or an albino. but thats me.

There was a discussion about a super spider on here a while back but don't remember what came of it. If I remember right someone had some good odds with a spider/normal pairing and thought he may have a super spider that looked just like a spider.

As for an albino, he said he wants some sort of dom/co-dom morph so he can produce morphs his first year pairing, albinism is a recessive trait.
