    After her vitamin injections and her vet work she is home eating like a champ. Must get antibiotic injections for next 2-3 weeks. After 2 days she is at her best ever.:D :D

    Awwwww....glad to hear she's responding SO well to treatment! You guys are awesome to be willing to sacrifice so much for a wee little turtle. :sunny:

    I'm not rich but we took her in knowing she was in bad shape. If someone makes a commitment to an animal I think they should follow thru. It's not like the turtle had any say in who took her home. It hurts me a lot of times walking away from an animal in a petshop knowing it needs medical attention. Yet I know in my heart when you buy a sick animal there will be another to fill the vacancy left. It's so sad when animals are only as important as the money they can bring. I always try to talk people into adopting an animal rather than buy. If someone is looking for a show or breeding prospect I try to steer them toward reputable breeders and to do their homework. :) Sorry for the long post and thanks for caring.
