Re: Is my snake just fat?
She does look to be on the heavy side. If you plan to breed her Fat balls are more likely to give you sluggs then good healthy eggs. Thats something to think about. Just my :2cent:

Thanks. :) Nah I'm trying to get all the housing sorted out so breeding isn't really an issue at the moment - maybe by the time I've built this rack she'll have gone on the slimfast diet but I can't see it.

She must have heard us - she turned her nose up at supper. :) She does seem to self regulate - just never to the extent of getting any slimmer. She's also lazy even for a ball python. I even tried putting her back on mice but she just looked at me as if I was daft.

I have visions of the rack gently tilting to one side when she goes for a drink. :P
And thankyou for all the kind words folks. In a slightly more worrying development I bought a second hand digital camera today so shall be posting pics all over the place as soon as I learn size control versus quality. I cropped almost all of this shot and it was still almost 300kb and huuge. The original is 2.4 meg!! But I do have the instruction manual and, if forced, will resort to using it.
Now I need to build a rack AND a photobooth.
