    I keep Flex on the hot side and a cheap uth on the cool side just on a dimmer set pretty low and the cool side stays in the 80-85 range easily in a room thats 65 at night!

    if you can, use a closet or corner of a room. put a small space heater there and bump the temps up into the high 70's for that area.

    65 deg. is pretty cold for bp's!:(

    The cheap one at walmart uses like 600-1500W of power. How much do you guys pay for power?

    that is a verry brod question. as power varries a lot between state to state. in san diego my bill went from 35-40 a month to 400 a month. i bet the power company thought i was growing weed in my place. hahaha. but here in iowa where i just moved my bill is about 125 a month.

    Just curious....can a small space heater (plugged into a thermostat) be used inside a larger wooden cage to control the air temps? I am guessing one with a built in thermostat should work also????
