1975 harley fatboy police issue. thump thump!!

Like in Termenator 2

I taught myself to ride on a used and abused '78 KZ1000, just like on CHiPs, but with the more modern fairing on it. Rode that till I split the sprocket cover and wasn't able to get it back home. Went without for a couple of years before getting a very abused '80 KZ650 that eventually ground a hole in the top of the valve cover from a floating cam chain top tension gear. I was luck that didn't seize the engine while I was riding, would have thrown me good. Managed to get the '03 Z1000 in January '04 and paid it off by April because of mega hours at work. I dream of one day doing a custom built Harley.

This is the closest thing I have.. sadly it is not street legal but I wish it was. I just use it for daily horse chores (manure hauling) and haulin' ass in the mud.. everyone should have one!
EDIT: now that I look at the pic more, this was our old one. We had a Sportsman 400 and got into an accident, the quad flipped off of the trailera and was destroyed along with our vehicle and the trailer.. So now we have a Sportsman 700 EFI. (looks about identical, lol.)

I used to ride when I was much younger
in fact I had a bike I kept at a friend's house so my parents wouldn't find out about it :cool:

but, after a few accidents (I was a sucky driver in those days) and when I got married and 'matured' I gave it up - figure its more of a risk for me than I am willing to take. I do miss it though....

I do have an ATV though...we use it to work our land rather than for fun though :(

i started out on a lil tiny red honda nsr 80(insurance here in ireland is a rip off) then i had a stupid lil 125 cc crusier, then i got a car so i stopped ridin for a few years, then i got me a real bike.DUCATI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

id love a y2k but 0-200mph oin less than 10 seconds on the roads i live on is madness.

Here's some pics, one album of different cool things I've seen and had the camera for and the other was a ride day my cousin, some of his buddies, and myself did. I'm the one in red...hadn't picked up my new leathers yet. Also the only non-Harley LOL.

A buddy of mine just picked up a 250 Ninja so we have plans to do some riding this summer.

Hey, you should try having some fun with it too! We use ours for a lot of work here, but still manage to have some fun.. it's awesome to do donuts in the snow and fly through the mud!
But there are places in the woods where I don't let anyone ride through; there are wood frogs and salamanders that have vernal pools back there, and if anyone goes through that, they'll hear it from me. :banned1:
