I was. The wife wasn't. Their feedback was 99.7% with over 100 ratings so I figured it would be safe.
They are from New Jersey. Maybe the snow delayed things.

Joe, I have been using Ebay for well over 5 years now. In my time of using Ebay, honestly, I got ripped off once, a pretty good amount.. and it was never recovered... although, it was not Ebays fault, it was the seller, who incidently ended up getting canned from Ebay for alot of similiar offences in a short amount of time.. I paid by MO..and I believe this was part of the problem....

By Ebay rules, a seller has something like 30 days to get you your item/items.. but generally, I have never had anything come later than maybe a week and a half later..and that was with using money orders as payment (till I got paypal)...

since using paypal it is very quick, honestly, alot of times I dont get email/hear from a seller on my item/items right away, but with 2 days seems to be about the average time, I generally get an email letting me know my item was shipped. I do check dates on the shipping material once the stuff arrives so that I can verify a seller is being truthful... as I have had a couple who lied to me about even that. After completing my transactions, I ALWAYS leave feed back that reflects the nature of the transaction.

Working through Ebay to acquire the stuff you want/need/fiend for is OK, as long as you are cautious and check a sellers feedback. You have to decide for you what constitutes a good seller based on the feedback comments, be it, positive, nuetral or negitive...it is always a calculated risk when using Ebay, but for the most part, my experiences with most of the sellers I have worked with have been great.

Yea i understand what you are saying.I did send a email to the sellar of these coins and told him about the smudge on the inside of the cover on the coin itself.I reread the whole auction and never once was mentioned of any defects. To tell you the truth i now see why he says ebay auction stuff can not be returned at all  .I will await for a response before leaving feedback though.

I don't think there is a problem with e-bay or Paypal. they're both useful tools and i'm glad I have access to them...i think it's silly to blame e-bay or paypal for poor customer service. Some people who sell things feel that their customers don't deserve customer service. no replies, no phone calls, no e-mails, no nothing..poor customer service. Seems a lot of people are unappreciative of people giving them money for a product they're offering. Whenever I sell something, I make it a top priority to ensure they have my contact info, a tracking number, and they're happy in the end. It just doesn't make sense why some people ignore their customers :confuzd: it's just shady business practices...ebay has nothing to do with that.
