    MATT FISHER REPTILES
    Re: Administering your own meds?
i have had 5 ri's that i have treated my self but i would not recomend this to anyone who has not been shown how to do it by a person who has experience. and out of the 5 i have treated i have had a 100% success rate and the breeder who told me how to do it has done it to a lot of snakes and has a 100% success rate. but as i said do not just try to do it your self. first off there are a lot of different illnesses that a snake can have and some are verry close to others. so you need to be carefull.

i am sure i am not the only one who has been to a bad reptile vet. but like has ben said before once you find a good one you wont regret it one bit.

My vet said to do it in the upper third of the body. It may affect the kidneys otherwise.
