Haha, I know what you mean Jo! I had to walk around the block to the carryout, and froze my butt off! Your not the only one who hates winter :P Can't get snakes shipped to you. Can't ship snakes to others. Can't build enclosures as fast due to time it takes for the paint to dry, and having to work inside...I hate it :(

LOL Not real good hon! Seems everybody has a lot of unassembled snowmen in their own yards here in Toledo right now so there's not the market for it I had hoped for. :P I'm now thinking of bagging it up, shipping it to warmer places as "pond inna bag"....whatcha think?

Wow Ohio sure freaks over a bit of snowfall! We are under a "Level 3 Snow Emergency" apparently which is....

LEVEL 3: All roadways are closed to non-emergency personnel. No one should be out during these conditions unless it is absolutely necessary to travel. All employees should contact their employer to see if they should report to work. Those traveling on the roadways may subject themselves to arrest.

Imagine that! You can get arrested for driving to the store LOL. Now of course I understand that idiots make more work for emergency personnel but good lord we didn't even get that much snow really. I guess being born in Canada and living in northern Michigan I kind of have another perception of what a real bad hit of snow is.

Oh well, no school today for the kidlets. :) Oh and anyone know when a snow storm became a "weather event"??????

Well my hubby trekked on foot through the snow and got me a card and a rose for Valentine's Day (okay everyone say "awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww"). :)

P.S. I know there's whole bunch of you who actually said "what! no snake???" :P

I wish that they would shut our town down like that! My work doesn not care about the weather.. they closed for snow once in the past 5 years, and that day everyone had to come in and were merely allowed to leave 2 hours early.. but they give us each three "emergency days" where we can call in with no writeups (I used two already, go figure, lol.)

Well I think in Ohio Jen the employers don't have a lot of choice in the matter. Once they go to this Level 3 stuff then employers are asking you to break the law to drive to work (unles of course you are in a very badly needed profession). Personally I think it's a bit of an overkill when we didn't get that huge an amount but maybe for this area this much snow is a lot (our first winter here).

Yeah this much snow in Toledo is a bit of a deal here. Normally we don't get snow like this. We do get some hot summers occassionally though...every couple years lol.
