I would try one degree at a time ... (although, moving the fan first and seeing where you're at might be a good idea) ... I like to be 88 - 90 but closer to 88 than to 90 ... my bator right now is set at 88.7 ... I know guys who incubate at 86 and things all work out fine, they just take longer ... but I've also seen kinked and mangled babies that were exposed to incubation temps over 90.
A little cooler is better ... gives you room to swing. :carrot:

OK...I moved the fan, added a bowl of water under the grate to increase the humidity in the over all box. I also (temporaily) opened the lids on the boxes to equalize the humidity overall. I will let it restabilize and then report back.
