    Thanks for the pictures! I definitely think you can move him up to 1 or 2 small adult mice weekly.


    A quick note about the vines, have you checked those to make sure there are no plastic rings on them (to hang them up for decoration)? If so, cut them off - I know of two people who's snakes tried to crawl through them, and got stuck (and scarred where they were stuck from trying to escape and damaged their scales).

    To me, the enclosure looks a bit open. If he continues to be active, I would definitely fill his enclosure with loosely balled newspaper to help him settle in better. :)

    well since late this morning he has been back to normal curled up in the log, so i dont know if something was bothering him or what. I will keep that suggestion in mind if he starts acting that way again. the vines are held up with two suction cups ... im not sure exactly what you mean about plastic rings but I dont see anything he could get caught in. Thank you so much for your help!
