    I wouldn't necessarily assume that all morphs are cosmetic only changes. As more people get enough morph experience to make reliable generalizations we may find that some of the mutant genes do make changes that are more than skin deep and effect things like how well the animals grow/reproduce and perhaps even things like personality.
