If that was the case, wouldn't you expect it to go from bright yellow to a duller brown and not yellow to white though?

One suggestion I got was it may be related to the diet. Joe Lydon had a BCI lose pigment due to rodents from a certain supplier. I am trying to find out who that supplier was to see if that might have anything to do with this.

These are actually white scales. I checked her over very thoroughly to see if it was damage to the scales. It's not which is really weird. It's very noticeable on her back but it is also appearing on her head and sides.

She eats fine, moves fine, and sheds in one piece but she is losing the pigment. Odd.

I would expect her to get darker as she aged and not get whiter.

That's cool ... just sharing my experiences ... I have a large collection of spiders of all ages and feel that what you are seeing is nothing unusual for some.

Good luck with whatever you think it is.

I think I may know what is going on with her.
A few people have let me know of their animals that started to lose pigment. Basically identical to what is going on here. Over time, their animals really started to look whitewashed. The pics I saw were sad to say the least. It started small and after each shed, spread more and more.
It was caused by the rodents they were using from a certain supplier.
I think it's time to find a new rodent pro-vider.

If it's your rodents, wouldn't your other snakes be doing it too?

No. She takes f/t that are a certain size and the others still only take live at that feeder size. The size she eats are from one supplier (the one in questions) and the others that take f/t have different sizes from another supplier.

I still have 6 left that were for her. I am going to buy all the rodents (except the live) from the same place now and see if this reverses the problem.
