    I do not see how an annie, biting and also constricting, is being defensive at all.. that is purely a feeding response. A defensive strike would have been quick; I don't think they use constriction as a means to kill attackers.

    it probably saw the kid as an easy meal that wouldn't put up much of a fight, as for anacondas eating people, i bet it happens all the time over there just noone hears about it
