    Heatherhead42....there are definitely NO hot rocks in any of my snake cages, I'm not sure what looked like one, I'll have to go back and look through the pics. I spent an exorbitant amount of time researching everything for my snakes' enclosures (you could say I like to be thorough). Glad you guys/gals like the pics.

    Heather what i believe you think is the hot rock is a rock looking hide, i have two of them with my kid too. Assuming the wires would be from thermometers. I can verify this cuz mine look exactly the same, like every crack is identical! In several pics you can see the opening for the entrance too. Nice to point it out cuz there is never to much info for people to know how bad they can be.

    Gorgeus bp you have there :D and yeah thats not a hot rock (good point bringing it up thou :) those things need as much bad press as possible in my opinion )
    it looks like an exo terra hide i have two of them in with Bob my little boy bp there great hides :)

    Ah, okay! Yeah, I saw the rock thingy and wires, and it looked kinda like what they have at the Nature Center near here (they use hot rocks, :(). Glad to hear it's not! And, glad to hear you're taking such great care of your beauty. :)
