I'd say it's a pied.. personally I like higher-white pieds, but then again that is a hot snake... now is it genetic for high-whites to produce like-whited babies, and low-whites to throw relatively lower whites? I would wonder that.

There is no relation between the amount of white in a pied to the amount of white in the babies it will produce.

Low white pieds have the same chance or producing high white babies as high white pieds.

Thanks Adam; I had been wondering that for awhile. Kinda how ugly Pastels can produce bright ones, and vice versa..?

Not really the same thing at all.

A low white pied bred to a het pied girl could produce an entire cluth of high white pieds ... it's totally random ... an ugly pastel bred to a normal "might" throw a nice one in a clutch, but the likely hood that all of the offspring will be screamers is very slim.

I'd be far more comfortable looking at a pastel and predicting what it's babies will most likely look like than I would looking at a pied and predicting the amount of white in it's babies.

    Thanks guys!

Glad to hear expert opinions, his son as well as his girlfriend are growing well, I can't wait to be hovering over their first clutch in a year or two hoping for the best :)
