I love his racks, personally. Can't say I've tried many other companies, though; only Reptile Basics (which I did not like). The Herp Enclosures racks are very high quality. Nice and thick, and they round the edges.

Another thing I liked is that on the rack with the small tubs they seperated each space for the tubs instead of having them pushing up against each other side by side. Looks nicer when they are divided. They also come assembled, have a hole for the probe to go through the back, spaces on the sides so you can attach the racks side by side, and pins to keep the tubs from sliding opened.

As for how the transaction was handled, I just emailed him asking for a shipping price, he gave it to me, I PayPaled him, and he shipped. No problems at all.

Big thumbs up to Richard at Herp Enclosures. Over the last two weeks he has accomodate several design changes to a custom order and also went out of his way to Delta Dash a new cage to me in order to meet a restrictive timeline. Over the last week we have communicated every day, sometimes twice a day about the order.

He's always had time to answer all my questions and the quality of the cages are top notch. He will definately get all of my caging and rack business.

imo, the "elite series" racks are the strongest best built plastic rack period.

they stack nicely, and are machined to fit perfect. the solid pvc used is marine grade and will stand the test of time...
