Boas don't lay eggs.....and BRBs usually have just a little more offspring than ball pythons.

    Wendy,

Have you tried Bruce Delles of Twin Cities Reptiles? I don't know anything about him except that he sells on KS classifieds. Just figured if he's local might be a good place to look. One of these days I might move back to MN and open a reptile store. :D

actually Bruce has a mating pair that prodused offspring a few months ago I think is what he said. They are beautiful tiny little things. I was thinking about getting one from Bruce, and buying a second to make a male/female pair. As of sunday he had not sexed them yet so I dont know what he has right now. I will most likely be getting one from Bruce, and the other from a reputable breeder.

(if you come back and open a store, count me in *grin*)

As well Wendy when you are looking to buy any snake, BP or BRB, I think in the end that the price is but one small part of it. Breeders set their prices however they want but for me and Mike it's always going to be about the breeder and the quality of the snakes more so than the price of it. Sure we don't want to pay more than is reasonable or than we can afford, but we won't go for a "deal" just because it is supposedly a great deal. Some of those great deals aren't deals at all if you end up with a sickly, non-eating import, an adult that won't breed and is being dumped on the market or someone just flipping snakes while putting it out there that they are actually producing them.

I'm always very wary of anything that is "too good a deal to pass up" LOL. Personally I'd say go with a reputable breeder and the snakes you love and you'll come away happy with the transaction.
