    Start with one, and establish a good feeding routine. Once that is set, then you can up the amount to two.

    To me, it sounds like your animal is stressed. (striking and not eating) I would double and triple check the enclosure and the temps/humidity. It's possible that may be contributing to the refusals.

    thank you! :) I'm sure she is stressed, i've only had her for two weeks. The humidity the first week was correct, but i think the temperature was a little low at first (the warm side was at ab 85). I moved her cage into my laundry room (which is quieter, and about 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the house.) Her temperatures (82 deg cold side, 92 deg warm side) and humidity (ab 50%) have been great since then. Shes also been moving around alot more. The first week she stayed in her hides all the time (bc she was too cold??) and now, at night especially, she cruises around the cage and investigates everything. She has quite the personality!!
