My 145 g male is on rat pups and it leaves a little lump, but he is more length than girth

when mine was 90g it was eating small rat pups as well.

Ok, I went to the pet store and asked to look at the size difference from mice hoppers and rat pups. He handed me two bags which were supposed to be one of each. I'd never seen rat pups so I took his word for it. I decided to buy a couple, but now I'm thinking htese aren't rat pups, but pinkies or small fuzzies because they don't seem to have much if any hair. What do you think?

small fuzzies ftw
Re: Should I up his prey size or amount?
Rat pups are fully furred and have their eyes and ears opened. They can range in size, depending on if they are 14-15 days old to 4 weeks old.
Re: Should I up his prey size or amount?
Ok, I figured they were probably around small fuzzy range after looking on rodent pro. This is the second time I've gotten the wrong size for the pet store, but they are the only store that sells the different sizes. Grrr....
Anyway, I fed him both of those fuzzies today and even though I don't beileve he has eaten a rat before he took the first one with gusto. He seem a little disoreiented when I gave him the second one. First, he carried it around and dropped it then I wramed it up again and gave it back to him and he seemed to have a hard time figuring out where the head was and tried eating it sideways and then front paws first and then gave up but stayed coiled around it. I tried taking it away from him after waiting awhile, but he didn't let go and then struck it again and ate it too.
