    Go get some soy baby formula and a little syringe. I was feeding mine every 2 hours around the clock. It went to work with me and everything. When she started to move around move and trying to explore, I switched her over to a soup. I used kitten food, some oatmeal, and soy and put it all in the blender. Then I fed that "soup goo" to her from the syringe. The rat will fight to get it out of it's mouth, but it does take time and is messy! You'll end up wearing more of the rats food then you got in the rat itself.
