Do a google and on their web site you can look up their dealers. Try to use one listed there as those are dealers they sell direct to. All the others out there have to buy from one of those dealers and mark it up from there. Or in the trade, we call it buying sideways.
My current price is about $21.00 in NJ. My local dealer is stocking more and more of it. I guess there are a few more rodent breeders around or the nurseries are baiting there cold frames for the winter mice.

Re: mazuri prices
I just found a dealer located 0 miles from where I live! Actually, it's a 5 minute drive... That's not too shabby.

I usually pay $23 after taxes and such.

How is the quality of the nutriants compared to mazuri? Like they say you get what you pay for and sometimes cheaper is not the best idea.

it is from harlin, so I don't know that it could be bad. if I remember right, it has 18% protein in it and that is all i remember.

Re: mazuri prices
Harlan teklad is considered to be better than Mazuri.. It's what I use for my rats, and I'm very pleased.

Re: mazuri prices
I pay 17.77 with tax for the Mazuri.

Re: mazuri prices
As far as Harlan goes, they have a complete product line, and you can order your lab blocks with any combinatio of fat and protein content, based on what you are doing with your rats. There are plenty of laboratories all over the country that use Harlan, and some of them even get Harlan to mix a formula specifically for them. Last time I ordered, I actually got some rodent chow that was mixed for the National Institute of Health laboratory. Harlan has got a big selection for whatever you wish to do, even if you are looking to feed your monkey or dog.

Re: mazuri prices
I just went to the feed store and talked with the sales lady about the rat feed. I ordered some Mazuri 6F and she told me that she's got a guy who breeds rats that buys pig feed for them by the pallet and it's cheap as dirt. I wonder if it's good for the rats that I'm breeding. I hope I don't step on toes for saying this, but as long as they are fairly healthy, I'm happy. I'm not trying to spend tons of money on what is ultimately going to be food for my snakes. Of course there is the argument that the snake eats what the rat eats, but even then, it's not like the rats can be THAT much different for the snakes from different types of feed, as long as it's somewhat healthy for them. Anyway, my point is that I am trying to breed rats in a cost effective manner to be used as food for snakes. I'm not trying to breed them to live long lives with perfect shiny coats suitable for showing at rat conventions. So is the pig feed any good for this? It's Purina Pig Grower. (I'm sure you all know that Purina is the parent company for Mazuri.) The protein is at 16%. Is there anything I should look for that is actually bad for rats to eat mixed in there?
