I got my snake a different Pet store only because this pet store said it was illegal to sell them. And look at them now! GESH!
I can't remember exackly but it was about 150 - 200 for a snake that came with mites! x 14% tax. I can almost guarantee they charge the same or even more!
But I do agree with mostly what you said!

I dont really want to go to the other shop because they have DIRTY mice and hardly ever have any rats. Waste of my time.
And the other Pet Store that I'm fighting with has clean mice lots of them and also tons of rats. Them also have all the supplies I need like bulbs and hides and even tanks.
I just dont want them selling the animals.
This is what the SPCA fella told me "I will now have to notify them that they have a snake in contravention of the Fish and Wildlife Act of NB as ball pythons require and exotic animal permit in this province."
hopefully they will take them away again, and this time they wont get anymore!

If I felt so strongly about a store I would not give them my money even if it was the easiest for me. The more money you give them the longer they will stay in business and continue to buy more animals.

Almost bought one from the pets U, but found someone who gave me a 2 year male for some computer help...

Pet unlimited isnt gonna go out of business anytime soon! They are a pretty be chain of Pet Stores. But I do agree with you! I wish I didnt have to buy from them!

I cant stand them Pets Unlimited... the SPCA I believe is going to go and take there snakes away since they dont even have a permit to sell them!
If you are ever looking to buy any nice snakes, check this guy out http://www.proreptiles.com/. He sells some Boas and other things. But his website has been down for centuries. I asked him when it would go back up and he hope soon but didnt have a specific date! I check all the time.
I believe he is located either Freddy, or I believe outside Moncton! I forget which. lol! Ah well!
