    Once you have the environmental parameters correct, IMO, they are no more difficult to keep than any other species. I find them quite hardy and easy to care for. I was out of herps for around 20 years and then started back in with emeralds as my first arboreals. LOL, now they are all we keep.

    And not to sound ignorant, but I always get ETBs and GTBs mixed up. What exactly is the differences between them? All I know is: Beautiful snake!

    I think you are confusing GTB with GTP. I don't believe that GTB stands for anything. With that said, the biggest difference is that one is a boa and the other a python. Both have evolved to fill almost the exact same niche, half a world apart. Basically convergient evolution. Oh and ya, emeralds don't have those ugly nose bumps! ;)
