Re: Rescues
Ouch; that sounds like a horrific feeding schedule.. once a month?! I am afraid to see what they look like.. definately, they need to get to a vet; there could be dehydration going on there that a bowl of water can't fix.. probably retained sheds as well.. this is pretty scary, and I hope it works out for you. You are a good person for wanting to help them, but hope that t is not too rocky of a road.
Heck; if they are females, and you have the cash and time to rehab them, you could feasably get them into peak health and make a good buck.. at any rate, I wish the best for you and them.

Re: Rescues
It's interesting to see what people decide on a feeding schedule. I picked up a female awhile back that was fed ten mice once a month....

Re: Rescues
Good luck. I hope they're both ball pythons and one of them isn't a burm. Hopefully they're not both horribly sick :(

Re: Rescues
3-4 years old and one rat a month, a burm may be dead on that schedule

Re: Rescues
lol i agree. BUT, after i rearranged my WHOLE room, took my bed out of there, moved a whole bunch of cages, emptied out my fish tank, and moved it, and redid it, to accomodate the cages that she was going to give me, she called me and told me that she sold the snakes to another lady because she offered her more money for them. ugh. ticked me off so badly, i really hope that the lady she sold them to knows how to take care of snakes, and can rehab them. It just hurts me to know that they might be in the same situation.
I tried, nothing i can do now  :(
