    I really like the dark substrate contrast for a light colored snake - always make them stand out and look even lovlier. =) Good job!

    Boas uncute...highly unpossible. I've always thought boas have an "old soul" look about them...not that I'm biased or nothin'. :D

    Thanks; they do have a "wise" look to them, especially as they grow older.. it almost seems like he needed more mental stimulation than the newspaper and palstic hides provided; he likes to slither around and investigate this substrate. He is tasting it as if it were a popsickle or something (I am not trying to anthromorph here) but now he has things to wrap around, hide underneath; he is happy.

    lol I gave up on trying to pretty up cages!! When you end up with all the branches, hides, and water bowls on one side you'll know what I mean! lol Do you have any pics of him out and about exploring?
