    Like I said, I only called it a female because of the name I chose when I bought him. It was probed a male. I've been checking him periodically since and there's no visible sign of blood or anything. I do have confidence in this vet, as he's great with my other herps and he's a long time family friend.

    Spurs can be worn down, or even missing. They are not a reliable judge for sexing.
