Re: Living Room Is Finished
Now I have to figure out how to put this back together again from the picture I have of it before I took it apart. Didn't realize just how big and heavy it was until I took it apart. Now I need to find some "help" to hold the middle and shelves in place while I reconnect them.:D

Re: Living Room Is Finished
Sorry. No shipping and I remember what you offered for it.:D
I tried to sell it. No one wanted it. :( Once I put it together again, that's it. It stays here. Too big to keep moving around.

The living room looks great. I used to have a similar chair and ottoman. I nicknamed them the "TERMINATOR" since after about 10 minutes in the chair I was out.

now i'm a man's man and the captain of my ship and all that. my advice, decorate the living room exactly the way your woman wants it. let the women decorate the house they do a far better job than us guys!
imo, guys that can decorate well, don't prefer women:D

It looks great!! Nice work!! I have one question, though... What does that red and white striped sign on the mantle say? I've been trying to figure it out since the 1st time you posted that pic and I still can't get it.
Re: Living Room Is Finished
Fa La La:rolleyes:
The wife bought it.
Re: Living Room Is Finished
Oh I love those soothing blues and greys! Now that you did the bones of the room you can have you wife add some girlie touches if she likes (throw pillows, a nice country blue couch blankie, pretty pictures or dry flowers that sort of thing). Then you'll both be happy. Lovely room, good job!
