    My man had garters when he was younger (for like 10 years) and is thinking about getting another one.

    I'll have to look into the differnet types as I've never had one.

    That is a really nice snake. I used to think that Garters were boring but from reading on the net I have noticed some really nice patterns and some morphs that look really nice. I just wish it was not illegal to keep them here since they are a native species. :(

    Nice Garter!

    I remember my first snake I ever had was a garter snake I caught in my back yard. I kept him for a year and then let him go the next summer. Surprisingly he never bit me even though he was from the wild.

    Garters are in no way boring, and some real neat ones are now available. :eek:

    She is awesome!! Don't the albinos come from the plains of Iowa and Nebraska? We have some nice garters that look a lot like the albinos in everything but the colors.
