    I have saw HUGE bucks in cades cove you could practically walk up to. Saw a guy try it and he got within like 15 feet of it and it was just standing in an open field with the rest of the herd. That would have made for some AWESOME close ups (only sorta a hijack, atleast im talking about a good photo opportunity:P). Awesome pictures.

    loo, i'm guessing that since there isn't a stich of personal items and you can see thru the walls... that no one lives there!

    I am trying to figure out the cabin w/ the open area underneath; is that a spot for a carriage? (or am I just too horsey-minded?)

    Thanks, these cabins are for veiwing pleasure. I believe these once were the homes of some of the first settlers in the Smokies.

    Which pic are you talking about? If its number 3 then thats a cantilever barn.
