Very good posts on an interesting question. I think that all breeders and everyone whos is thinking of doing has thought about this question. I will probably see if I can get some store credit on rats from a local reptile store and maybe try to sell what I can.

I think $20 would be an amazing price on a normal male, especially if I have a 50% chance on it being a het. Even as a non breeder, I think people would be interested to know that IF they did want to breed in the future, they have a pet that could be interesting to breed. My first bp was $90, I would've loved to find one for $20. Of course, I ended up with a female that I'm now glad that I have, since now I'm intending to breed.

Thanks everyone so far for the input. I do have a deal worked out with the herp shop on feeders and the wholesale of my normal sibs. They are offering to traded me feeders for all my normals.

Keep in mind, that if sold here, unless the person is local, they'd have to also figure in $40-$50 for shipping as well. Which may or may not hinder them being sold.
