Pastel grading system?

beautiful pastel... I wouldn't complain about owning it...:D

alright thats good to hear. I did read somewhere about pastels losing there color. But I still don't know how to tell which ones do or don't.

I give mine an A+ because he is locking up with the girls! :)

This is one that is holding it's color pretty well at 7 months.
There was almost no orange on the sides as a hatchling so it should dull a bit more as it ages but I don't expect it to "brown out".

first "little dude" my VPI pastel boy... i chose him because of his patterning... i like his lack of 'spotting' in his yellow sections...

and here's what adam told me when i wasn't sure which pastel male i should pick... cause i don't know a whole lot about them.

"you should pick the animal that speaks to you ... You should buy the best animals that you can possibly find/afford ... You'll have them for the next 20+ years and cleaning up poop for an animal that isn't "perfect" in your eyes is no fun ... trust me. :P "

so i went with little dude... not because he's the best show piece specimen i could have picked... but because i was in love with his reduced pattern and ... cleaning up his poop for the next 20 years... is something i feel great about doing!
