    you could try a thermostat with 2 probes/2 outputs and put a UTH under each side. set the warm side to 93 and the cool side to 83.

    ditto on the closet. oil filled heater on 700w with a t-stat. so far so good. My house is in the low 60s. my closet is about 83.

    I use a 400 watt oil heater to heat rooms, they are called under desk heaters (like $40). They don't uuse that much electric and won't trip breakers like the 1500 watt does. I keep the snake room high 83.5 and low 79 and breeding (cooling) room high 80 low74 and use a herpstat pro to control 3 separate racks and ambient room heater (it has 4 separately controled probes). It has night drop and controls everything! It is in my opinion the best T-stat.
