    Bad Shed?
    DON'T DO THIS TODAY!!!! Leave your snake (name) alone for at least 24 hours after he ate.

    From the picture it looks like your snake (name) has some left over shed on his back. OR is that an old injury?

    If it is old shed, you might want to fill a tub with warm water (only a couple of inches) and let slither around in it. and you can use a moist wash cloth to dab the "bad" area.

    I believe it is leftover shed. Thanks for the advice, I will try that tomorrow! :)

    Also...It may be coincidence, but the spot where his shed is still there, it feels a little harder than the rest of his body. Could this be something he ate digesting? do the bones feel hard inside for a while?

    I don't know. I haven't handled a snake after it ate. It's a good question to post to the husbandry thread.

    I think u could def go up to the next size prey...aslo I have been told never feed another prey item 24 hrs after they already ate one b/c it interupts the digestion process...
