Ok i put a sheet of damp paper towel on the ground for him to walk around on for a while, then thehumidity went up a bit so i took it out, now this morning i found the shed which came off his head in the tank. So i just put a damp paper towel on the bottom of his hut and put him in it to get the rest of the shed off, but arent they suposed to eat their shed?

Yes, they usually consume their sheds, but it's not nessecary for them to do so. ;)
