I'm new at this; any pointers?

That weight does sound off- most yearlings are around 500g, my 5-month-old is over 300g already. So either she's quite young or in fact a horrible feeder.

There is tons and tons of info on feeding- that is a common stressor for bp owners. Search the forum and you'll find lots of useful stuff.

Don't worry, she'll probably spend most of the time on the cool side.

A moist hide is a good idea but not critical right now as she just shed. Mine hate the spray bottle too- makes you realize how fast they can move when they want to!

192 grams at a year old sounds way too small. Perhaps I missed reading it but where did you purchase the snake from...pet store, herp show, et?

Got her from a breeder at a show. I don't have any way of knowing for sure that she's a year old, really. She didn't look any smaller than the others, and she looks pretty healthy as best I can tell (smooth skin, good shape, so on).

Unfortunately, since I don't have any contact info for the breeder, I can't really call him to find out more specifics on hatch-day and feeding methods.

Will, where was his table located at the show? I went to the show too. In proximity to the front entrance?

I'm just wondering Will because that weight is about what my group of four 06 hatched BP's are at (all of them are 150 to 200 grams or thereabouts) so I'm wondering if you've got an 06 there and not an 05 yearling as you believe it to be. Any pics with something in the shot to show relative size by any chance?

Only the one where I'm holding her right now. I'll try to take a comparative shot tonight once she comes out for the evening (no handling-- just placing something next to her in the tank)

Yeah, the second guy was a local guy. I was worried you may have purchased from the guy at the first table in the lower right. I can't remember the vendor's name you purchased from.

He was from South Carolina, IIRC.
