ok thank you!! i'll try some of these and see what happens.

hopefully i find her before my mom gets home from work because if i dont...she'll go crazy and will most likely have trouble sleeping.but then again if she finds her for me...i just have to listen for her scream:cool: .

in hindsight... i realize my cat kept revisiting the area where my two snakes had escaped to (under our 90 gallon fish tank) - so watch your cat... not for where it sits and stares for a long time, but for a spot there it may go and sniff and then leave... cause it may be checking "are you still there?" kinda thing!

    Glad you found her!
As for the cat as a search tool- I have to laugh at that, I had a BP that would get out no matter how secure I thought the enclosure was and my oldest cat would find him every time- always within a few fet of the tank. She would sit in front of where he was hiding and "meep" (I now have solid tops on ALL of my enclosures!)

Sucks when you lose them, but great when you find them. I had a corn snake that always got out. I would always find him in my sock drawer.

glad you found her! I have never had a snake escape (knocks on wood), but i'm sure it is quite nerve wracking.

Wow! Good thing you found her. I think most of the snake keepers had that happen to them. I lost my Albino Burmese for three months and I finally found her outside of my house in a really cold night right infront of my door, as if she was waiting for me to open the door for her. I also had a friend loose a ball python for 6 months and found her, believe it or not. That was the worst feeling when I saw her cage empty. I know exactly how you felt. :(
