    Raising tails in the air is normal and part of the courting process ... somewhere, I have pictures of animals locked with their tails raised up high in the air ... finding them is the tricky part ... I'll see what I can do. ;)

    Thanks Adam. I know I'm probably being a goof being this excited about two snakes doing it but it's fascinating stuff to me this first time out (maybe it always will be). I just very quietly peeked in on them and their tails are sort of intertwined but of course Kyna's body is in a position that I cannot see clearly if that is a lock or not LOL. I'm not going to peek too often though, I promise! :D

    If they're laying together with their tails like that they're most likely breeding ... even if you aren't actually seeing a lock ... animals that aren't breeding don't lay like that.

    Okay is it completely stupid of me to dance madly about my computer room doing the "I think my snakes are gettin it on" dance LOL (the dog is looking at me oddly again!) :carrot:

    My snakes breeding is the next best thing to me breeding so yeah, dance get excited "It's a beautiful thing"(insert N.Y. accent)!!!!!!!!!!!!
