oh i meant large rats...jumbo i think they're called.it's one of the few places where i can get them in person.it'd be too much work raising rats that size especially a colony or jumbo rats.plus they smell and my parents wouldnt appreciate having that many rats in the house and ordering online would take too much time/money so i prefer to get them at petco or something.

Petco is probably the most expensive place to get rats or mice. They sell them as pets rather than feeders.

I'm pretty sure that adult burms only need to feed once or twice a month so 20-30 bucks a month isn't too bad. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong though.

I feed my burm every 2 weeks. Moby takes a 5 to 7 pound rabbit. He's about 12 feet and 75 pounds.

Jumbos are like 3 bucks here. it is so nice having a store that sells mice superrrr cheap.
Anyways, absolutley beautiful snake!!! When i first got a snake i promised myself i would not get anything bigger than me. Well, i got an RTB, but i think that is as far as im gona go. Althogh, if i had the space, im pretty sure i would get a burm. Its just a money factor, when it is an adult, im not going to have the money to feed it giant meals like it needs, sooo i'm just not going to get one.

Only takes a few minutes to order from rodentpro.. they deliver to your door, AND it's a heck of a lot cheaper than your average pet store.

She is stunning!!! My husband wants a burm someday, but I told him we really need more room first. I have meet some really sweet ones though. At the last reptile swap I was at one tried to come home with me, a guy had to find a new home for an albino burm female who was about 7 1/2 feet long, he had developed back problems and had to have surgery and wouldn't be able to pick her up if she got any bigger or heavier, which, of course, is going to happen with a small burm. She came right to me and was very sweet and gentle, he wanted me to take her and I was so tempted!!! But I know that I don't have the room or the know how for that big a snake and I would have done her a disservice, and she was to wonderful to deserve that. So I've been coming here just to gawk and sigh. Maybe, someday.......
