I thought "Hmmm, I doubt they sterilized it?" Sure enough I took one glance at the one of the three corns there, and it had 2 mites right above its eye. They stuck out like a sore thumb since the corn was tiny and was red and white. Well I look at the other corns and the one to the side of the cage has mites on him as well. I walked around and saw an employee and I said "Dude? Your corns have mites. You know that right?" He looks in the tank and says "Oh. Yeah" ... And he walks away. I hung out to see if anyone would be coming out to clean the tank. Nope. I wasn't gonna make a huge scene but it's BS they don't care.
That makes me angry. If any of my snakes got mites i think i would have a fit. not give an "oh yeah..."
I have never been to Petco..do all of them have snakes/snake stuff?

ah, alright...I have a petsmart around the corner, so i have never had to go to petco. Is it worth it?

I personally think that Petco is better than PetSmart. For one, their prices aren't as inflated. However, the care they give their reptiles can be a little sketchy as far as temps/humidity, hides and cohabitation. At least they have enough sense not to keep two kings in the same cage.
