    Re: spoil?
Rotten. I spoil them all rotten. I buy my dog this dog food at x-mas and when I can afford it, called Archetype, I use it as a treat. Just look it up and you'll know how much that stuff costs. He gets some at least once a year. He gets only all natural foods with no preservatives, bi-products, ect. All of the food I buy him has to have ingredients that’s passed USDA inspection. I spent almost a year and I finally settled on two brands, Royal Canin, and California Natural. I e-mailed wysong, WOLF, Newman’s Own and so many more companies. They’re really nice, if you ask they’ll always send you samples of their foods for your pet to try along with pamphlets about their foods. He has his own pillow on my bed; it's 100% white feather goose down. He has his own cases for his pillow.

He has two shirts, which I put on him in the winter, but that's because he'll spend 5+ hours out there running around in the snow. I don't know who has a long furred dog, but if anyone does they'll relate. He gets these snowballs on his chest, BIG ones, bigger than golf balls, then he'll come inside and the snowballs will fall off on the floor and worst of all in my bed. So there will be puddles all over the place. Drives me nuts, so I stick the shirts on him so he doesn’t get the snowballs.

Most of my fish are living in tanks with live plants now; they all get fed live and frozen food at least once a week. All tanks are over filtered and under stocked with lots of décor and caves.

One of my geckos just got his enclosure set up with all live plants; the others are soon to follow. I’m still trying to figure out what foods they like so I know what to give them as treats. My big female gargoyle really likes strawberries.

The only ones that aren’t spoiled are my snakes. I don’t know what to do for them. My KSBs have hides, a heat rock (supposed to be all new and fancy to prevent burning), and aspen litter to burrow in. My only BP has his hides and a water dish that was about 22 bucks. It’s rock and big enough for him to fit his entire body into because he likes to sit in his water dish once in a while. I don’t know what else they might like. My BP gets only the mice he wants. He likes live white mice with pink eyes (albinos). He doesn’t like them to have spots, so every week I find him a mouse like that at a LPS or Petco.

Every last one of my pets gets bottled natural spring water (except the fish). My BP seems to like it, he drinks a lot.

I think it’s fun though. When their enclosures look nice and they are happy, it pleases me. I like buying them things I think they’ll enjoy. I rarely, if ever, buy things for myself. Maybe two or three times a year I’ll spent a hundred bucks on movies and books I’ve wanted for months, but most of my money is saved or goes towards the pets. I want them to not feel bored and have all they need so that they're a healthy as I can make them.
