I appreciate the kindness, but I still need to see if I can get another snake as is. I really couldn't accept the kind offer though. I know I'll wake up with a clear head tomorrow and be rational. But we all look at some critters and think "man that would be cool to have one!" But seriously your offer is beyond the words and gernerousity of the word "kind".

I've been fighting off the urge for a couple weeks now. I would have picked up an ATB today, if I'd found a good looking CB one.

I know but still, Im a giver, not a taker. Let me atleast see if I can even have another one. And I'll let ya know either way.

I've realized that I'll be fighting this urge for the rest of my life. Usually once I start to feel "normal" and rational......WHAM!!! I log on to BP net and check out the pictures and morph/genetics page. There is no hope.

I go by something I call a "Couple of Months Rule." If I want something, (and this applies to posessions as well as animals) I wait a few months. I spend these months researching and thinking up ways to keep or use the thing I want.. then in a few weeks or months if I still need to have it (and can afford it!) it's mine. I work 40 hours a week and then have to come home, clean house and pets and barn.. si I figure I deserve what ever I want! Of course, having Marky in the mix helps b/c we either talk each other out of things we don't need, or encourage where needed.

That's why I'm holding off. Lady whipple was kind enough to say she would give me a critter if she could fit it into her budget. But I said let me sleep on it. If I still want something when I wake up then I really do want it. I just hate buyng that damn thing then can't touch it for a week plus quaratine time is a pain so I'll just hold off.

Always, a little while after we get a new morph I have an urge for another specific morph. This time its a spider, and I've had this urge for a few months. (thats the longest I've ever had to last)

Hehe. I know. I'm spoiled. :D

I've also been trying to hold off because I need to spend some more $$$ on caging.
