Re: is my snake pregnant ??
The best weight for breeding is 1500 grams and up and 3 years old and up...
You can work it around 1200, but 1000 is pushing it. Please take this into consideration for your snakes health.

Re: is my snake pregnant ??
nicole,
is this the same snakes you were discussing in this thread? because i thought they were both males?
sorry, i'm confused
Re: is my snake pregnant ??
Remember too when you are looking at a female for potential breeding that 1,500 is a minimum guideline...not a carved in stone number. The best advice my husband and I got was to look at 1,500 grams as being that and also that being a minimum of 500 grams per foot. So basically a 4 foot female would need to be more like 2,000 grams minimum not 1,500 to be bred. A lot of other things have to go into the decision to breed so for me anyways it's never a rush into it sort of thing. The male and female will be around next season and the one after that and the one after that so why rush anything that might impact on their health or wellbeing.
Re: is my snake pregnant ??
Aleesha,
I think they are both male babies that are housed together in that other thread? At least that is what I read from that post. I guess she is trying to breed her snakes, but doesn't know much about breeding info so asked here?
