Thanks again everyone. My fiance buried Sasha in her mother's garden today. I am still pretty sad about it, but its just a part, although the worst part, of owning animals.

Awww Jamie. I know how much you were bonded to this snake and how much you strove to solve some of the mysteries of his continuing health and feeding issues. I know it's little consolation right now but really bud you did everything humanely possible to try to bring Sasha back to full health. I've always been amazed you've been able to keep him relatively healthy and stable considering the horrific abuse he survived prior to your taking him in. You may have had to make this final decision for Sasha but Jamie, please know that you gave that lovely snake every chance. He got to at least live a portion of his life cared for by a wonderful, knowledgeable and committed person like you. That's a wonderful gift you gave Sasha. :grouphug:

    Jamie-

Sorry to hear that the BRB had to be put to sleep. You gave it a wonderful home and wonderful care for it last years of life. You should be proud of the person that you are to do that for that snake.
