Aw! I love her to pieces; what a sweetheart. Ah yes, the off the couch rule...:colbert: Porter and I came to a truce and he is now allowed to sit on the ottoman & ONLY the ottoman. Seems to work out great for everyone!:D

I swear it's like having a hairy, slobbering toddler that chews slippers in the house Hannah! Personally I would have gone for a year plus dog in need of a home but since this was our 5 year old's big dream to have his own puppy....well a puppy we got. I couldn't survive her puppyhood however without the kindness of another BPNet member who lent me a lovely large puppy kennel for her (thank you Vince!)

You know I wouldn't mind if she just got on the couch and lay there nicely but she has this need to crawl into our laps. She's getting to be a good sized pup now and no matter how many times I explain "we are a big dig...we are NOT a freakin toy poodle!" she just sort of gives me that puppy look and licks my ear! Dang it's hard to resist but her big paws and a distinct inability to see Grey's Anatomy around her, makes it easier to keep reinforcing that she doesn't need to be on my lap constantly. LOL

Actually I'm the dog cop in our home LOL. I have this thing about well behaved dogs and that comes with limits and discipline (sorry but the worst thing is a dog that's just a brat because it's spoiled rotten) so I tend to be the one that doesn't spoil her. I threatened Mike that if he continues to spoil her rotten I'm going to rename her "Precious Princess", get her a pink sparkly lead and collar and some of those frou-frou dog outfits LOL.

Like Robin I'm a huge Cesar Millan fan and have learned so much from his TV show and his philosophy about dogs and humans.

hahahahaha my girlfriend has two leashes... one says "one of us doesn't have any balls"

and the other one says "one of us is a b*tch"

hahahahahahahahahaha perhaps one of those would suffice?
